The Environment Agency (EA) is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the United Kingdom Government’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), with responsibilities relating to the protection and enhancement of the environment in England. The Environment Agency’s remit covers the whole of England and employs around 11,200 staff over numerous sites.

Savawatt Controls have helped the Environment Agency with its commitment to reduce it’s carbon footprint, with a nationwide SavaControl installation. Various refrigeration equipment was identified by the Environment Agency which would benefit from the patented motor energy controls. The installation was completed by SavaWatt’s in-house installation teams in under 2 weeks with no disruption to the operating of the Environment Agency.
