H&K has developed as a key supplier to large restaurant chains, their ability to deliver complete kitchen packages to new or existing restaurant sites anywhere in the world has made them renowned in the industry. One of their many bases can be found in Rugby, UK. H&K Ltd placed orders to install SavaPower in both their Factory and Warehouse locations.

The warehouse premise consisted of 29 lighting circuits with an average of 16-18 double florescent tubes on each circuit. The sheer size of the warehouse meant a total of 29 SavaPower Voltage Optimisation units were fitted onto their existing lighting circuits, without any change to the ballasts or existing lighting switches. The disruption to day to day business was minimal with lights on each circuit only being turned off for a few minutes at a time. H&K’s total average saving across the warehouse site was 36.9% with no distinguishable effect on lighting levels. The return on investment for supply and fitting was over 64%, which works out at just over an 18 months payback.
